Bell Media’s MuchFACT Announces Fund Recipients for February 5-6, 2014 Jury


– Over $528,000 awarded to 50 Canadian musicians –

TORONTO (February 7, 2014) –Bell Media’s MuchFACT (A Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent) announced today the 50 fund recipients from the February 5-6, 2014 jury meeting. With over 280 applications considered, a total of $528,037 was awarded to Canadian musicians for the production of music videos, viral videos, EPKs and websites.  


MuchFACT continues to support Canadian musicians in a variety of areas, including its third year as the official sponsor of the JUNO Award for Video of the Year. MuchFACT congratulates all of the nominated artists in the category, announced earlier this week by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). The nominees for Video of the Year are: MuchFACT funded video “Friend of Mine” by D-Sisive, “Je t’aime comme tu es” by Daniel Bélanger, “Anything” by Hedley, “King and Lionheart” by Of Monsters and Men, and “Feeling Good” by The Sheepdogs.
